Our Services

  • Pretrial Case Management

We offer Pretrial Case Management for anyone facing a criminal charge, regardless of income, insurance, location in the state, age, finances, or severity of charge. These services include creating a release plan for those currently incarcerated, or community support planning for those already released. We screen for mental health concerns & needs, housing stability and housing needs, substance use treatment needs, we facilitate psychiatric evaluations as indicated and more. We facilitate referrals and collaborate with community agencies, substance use programs, and all levels of care to get people the help they need. During the legal process, we offer mental health support to help reduce stress and anxiety, and provide education on court processes and procedures. These services continue until sentencing or resolution. Those in need of therapy can access therapy at TWI if desired. If you are interested in these services for yourself, your client, or a loved one, please reach out today to discuss eligibility and cost, which may be at no cost to you depending on financial situation.

  • Reintegration Stabilization

We offer reintegration stabilization for those supported through a release or community support plan created by Therapeutic Works. This service is centered around weekly therapy through our in house clinicians, multiple check-ins a week, which starts with more frequent contact at first, and decreased support over time as the individual stabilizes. Individuals being served have access to therapeutic groups (coming 2023), access to our space via open hours, support with access to basic needs (toiletries, phones, clothing, food, housing needs, and more), and scheduled community events. Reintegration Stabilization is facilitated primarily through our office in Burlington or via telehealth. Additionally we are able to drive beyond our Chittenden County boundaries on a case by case basis. This collection of services typically runs within a 3-9 month period. We accept clients with Medicaid, Medicare, BCBS of VT, and out of pocket options via a sliding scale for those with other or no insurance.

  • Therapeutic Groups

We are excited to be offering therapeutic groups in Spring 2023. Upcoming groups include Anger Management, Harm Reduction, & Sex Offender Treatment Group. We hope to soon add groups around financial health, internal family systems, and more.
Eligibility & cost will depend on group theme & case by case situation.
